Dan confesses his love for you..

It was 3 PM on a saturday, you where bored, and had nothing to do. So you text your best friend of 3 years, the Dan Howell, and ask him if he want's to grab a bite.
It didn't take long for him to answer back with "Sure, I'll be there in 10 " You smiled, and got yourself off of Tumblr to go throw on clothes cos you where still in your pajamas.
You put on your black skinny jeans, Peirce te Veil t-shirt and converse, threw on some eye liner, and waited for Dan to get to your flat.
You sighed. He was 5 minutes late and you where impatient.
Soon after, he came through the door shouting "Honey, I'm home!" You chuckled and walked over to him, giving him a hug. "Your late, mister" You noted.
Aren't I always? Dan said while hugging you back. You laughed and punched his arm lightly, then you both headed out the door.
On the way to get food, a rather good looking guy came up to you, introducing himself with a smile. "Hi, I'm Jesse" he said joyfully while holing out his hand.
You smiled and shook his hand "Hi, I'm y/n. Nice to meet you" You thought he was pretty cute, he did have blond hair and blue eyes after all, who wouldn't think he was cute?
Dan gleared at him, and quickly said "Not to be rude, but we where kinda on our way to get food. So, if you don't mind, we'll be leaving now"
he said while grabbing your arm and pulling you away from Jesse.
Dan was clearly jealous, you could tell. "That was rather rude, ya know." You said as you pulled your arm out of Dan's grip.
"He was flirting with you, and I don't like random guys flirting with my best friend." "Oh? And why's that?" You said in a scarcastic tone.
"..Oh hey, we're here!" Dan then runs in the fast food place, clearly avoiding the question.
You ran in after him, and you both order. While waiting for your food you make chit chat.
Dan then looked bothered, like he wanted to tell you something. "What is it..?" You asked in a worried voice.
"N-..nothing.." Dan  studdered. As you grabbed his hand you said "You know you can tell me anything, right..?"
"I know..but..if I tell you..I'm afriad it would ruin our friendship." He said with a shaky, low voice.
You slapped him lightly and playfully. "Nothing can ruin out friendship! You know that"
Dan then quickly replied with "Even if I where to confess that I love you-"..
Your eyes got wide..you knew you felt the same way about him deep down..but you always brushed it off.
It took you a second to registir what he just said.
You look at him, his eyes looking hopeful. "..I..never thought you'd..be in love with me. I'm nothing special-" Dan stopped you dead in your tracks as he placed a soft kiss on your lips.
The feeling of his warm lips against yours overwhelmed you with butterflies.
The kiss was broken by you smiling. "I've..felt the same way about you for..a long time I just..didn't ever know how to say it.." You said with a blush on your cheeks.
Dan's beautiful chocolate brown eyes then looked happy. He had the cutest smile on his face and he grabbed your hands and cupped them in his.
"So..you'll...be my girlfriend..?" You blushed even more and quickly responded. "DUH"


 The rest of the day was spent eating, joking around, playing Guitar Hero and lounging around on the couch.
You ended up watching a movie while cuddling in Dan's bed. (Which wasn't unusual for the two of you)
"You can spend the night if you like" Dan said softly while stroking your hair. "I'd like that.."
Dan then pulled the blankets over the both of you, turned off the lamp next to the bed, and turned off the TV.
You curled up next to him, placing your head on his chest and he put his arm around you tightly.
"Goodnight y/n." He said with a tired voice. "Goodnight.."
You then fell asleep to the sound of his heart beating, and him holding you safe in his arms.
